Yoga is the new trend and everyone is getting more attracted to this amazing package of fitness and health. While there is a lot that we can know about yoga, but in this abstract, we will be discussing the food items that are on consumption and add more benefits that can be availed from yoga. These food items are not just restricted to a person or category until and unless you are allergic to them.

While yoga originated in India, a religious country, most yogis are people who are vegetarians. Thus, yogic food is purely made up of vegetarian items. One can question that if it is entirely made up of vegetarian diet items, then how will they meet the protein demand? But this question will soon be answered by the list of food items that can be consumed to improve your yoga practices. This is recommended to both the trainers and the trainees.

The items that are mentioned can be consumed as a snack before the yoga session or can even be taken during the day. These are generally sources of balanced nutrients.

  • Lenticels: these are a very rich source of proteins and can be consumed in several ways. While many people like to consume them boiled with some salt and pepper, one can also try the Indian version called daal with all the spices to enhance the flavor, which is generally devoured with tortillas. This is a very rich source of proteins in the diets of vegetarian people.
  • Green leafy Vegetables: green leafy vegetables are often consumed in the form of salad and it is a very rich source of vitamins, and fibers. Generally, these are very rich in vitamin A and are good for eyesight. But these can also be very effective for yoga.
  • Vitamin C enriched food items: vitamin C is one of the most essential Vitamins and should be balanced well in our diets. These can be easily obtained from the citrus family. These can be oranges, lemons, brussels sprouts, and many more. These are indeed a very healthy snack along with a taste to savor.
  • Lemon with warm water: many start their day with tea and coffee, but if you want a more energized and effective yoga session, switch your drink with that of lemon in warm water. This will not only provide you with energy but will also increase the metabolism of the body thus, providing you with an effective session.
    Soya: this is the richest source of proteins, which fulfills the compliance of proteins in the vegetarian diet. These are obtained from plants and are cooked in many ways to make them tastier. While many don’t like soya, it is a very good supplement of proteins and fibers.
  • Raw Cocoa: what better than echolocate. While chocolate is made by adding sugar and milk to cocoa, consuming this raw is very good for health. Not only for yoga but raw cocoa has many health benefits which will help you in a healthier living. While everyone likes chocolates, raw cocoa should be something to make you happy. You are free to have your favorite thing but in a more basic and restricted way.
  • Banana, Pear, and Berries: these snacks are not only good for yoga but have many benefits. bananas are a food item that is asked to be consumed for both weight gain and weight loss and is filled with many nutrients. Pears are fruits that will provide some solid part to your stomach and you will not feel the need to devour anything until the next meal. A healthy, and effective method. Then comes the berries, these are a rich source of vitamin C and have many types of qualities in them. consumption of these berries will provide you with nutrients and help for intense yoga sessions.

After going through these food items, one can easily say that these things will not be difficult to find, nor will they hinder your taste buds. Infect almost all the items mentioned above have their flavor and taste, which is surely not bad. Apart from being easily available, they can be consumed in different ways accompanied by different spices and ingredients to enhance their taste. While fruits and vegetables make the most of the diet of the yogis, there are several methods by which they can be consumed.

These points have nothing to do with exercising or yoga, but points that are suggested by the doctors for a healthy living.
