What is Tree Yoga?
Tree yoga is a form of yoga that is practiced while sitting or standing in a tree. The name comes from the fact that many of the poses are done with your body suspended from the branch or trunk of a tree.

Most of us take for granted all the benefits that come with regular yoga practice. But did you know that tree pose, or vrksasana, can offer some impressive benefits? Here are a few:

How to Do the Tree Yoga Pose
To do the Tree Yoga Pose:
1)First, find a sturdy tree or post that you can rest your arms on. If you don’t have access to a sturdy tree or post, you can use a wall for support.
2) Sit up tall with your feet flat on the ground, hip-width apart. Place hands on hips or behind head, if comfortable.
3) Look straight ahead and focus on root chakra in front of you. Feel yourself connect with the earth beneath you!
4) Begin by slowly bending one knee towards the chest and hold for 20-30 seconds. Then switch legs and repeat the pose.
5) When finished, slowly rise from the pose and take a few deep breaths before starting the next pose!
